Black Jack's Story...
NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this pet personally. To meet Black Jack, email Pam.Lawless@gcccd.edu .

Black Jack was born around August, 2016. He is a Terrier mix. He is very sweet, inquisitive and ready for fun, and his favorite time is spent cuddling with you. He has been neutered, wormed and is up-to-date with his Distemper/Parvo shots. Medical records will be provided. He is doing very well with his housetraining. He would be great with a family or an individual who is active, as Black Jack wants to learn. He rides quite well in the car. Black Jack weighs about 8 lbs. and will probably top out at about 20 lbs.

A home visit will be conducted to help ensure the right home for him and his new adopter, and an application for adoption will be requested.

To meet this little charmer, email Pam at Pam.Lawless@gcccd.edu .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Black Jack, a Vista Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
