Jessie is a very sweet, calm girl who thinks of herself as an inside dog. She likes to sleep on a dog bed (and sometimes the couch). She walks well on a leash, and will do her business in the yard without any trouble. She barks very little, usually only when she gets excited at feeding time. She has some anxiety with grooming and requires a little patience, but can be brushed while she eats. Jessie is very food motivated and is on a diet, which she reluctantly accepts. She requires a grain free food to avoid itching/allergies. She is currently 51 pounds, and has met our goal in the low 50's. Jessie has ben spayed and has had her teeth cleaned. Jessie is a little shy, and very affectionate once she trusts you. Jessie does well with other dogs but we do not recommend her for a home with cats.

We require a secure fenced yard, we do not accept "invisible" or electric fences. We will check your fence. All our dogs are spay/neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested and on prevention, on Flea & Tick prevention and microchipped. Dentals are completed as needed. You may meet our dogs at Petco on W. 75th Street, just East of Metcalf in Overland Park, KS on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 10am to 12 pm and the 1st Sunday of the month from 11am to 1pm or by Appointment. We DO NOT SHIP our dogs.
