Liyah is an adult doby-hound mix (~2 yrs old) who is incredibly snugly, house broken, leash trained, and good with other dogs (in fact, we think she'd do best with another dog in the home)! She is highly intelligent, eager to please, and has a super silly side. She also gives amazing hugs, pressing her nose into your neck while you wrap your arms around her. (Her foster mom says she's never seen anything like it before!) There's nothing Liyah wants more in the world than a best friend.
Although Liyah is nervous around new surroundings and strangers, she's worth the effort! She needs a patient and experienced adopter to gain her trust and show her how wonderful life can be. In return, she'll be your loyal companion and fill your world with smiles.
Liyah is available to be met at our Southbury CT adoption center upon approval of your application.
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms and also has been examined by a CT vet in compliance with HB 5368. The adoption fee is $400.
