Gizmo's Story...
Hi, my name is GIZMO and I am an 8 year old PERSIAN male. My thick SILKY COAT is cream colored with darker accents on my face, ears, and tail. I have large expressive BLUE EYES and (you guessed it) a cute pink tongue. I’m sure you’re wondering why a GOOD-LOOKING feline like myself is here looking for a home. It’s because my owner became too ill to care for me and asked Posh Pets Rescue to help find a place where I would be safe, secure and loved. Here are some facts about me: I am FRIENDLY with a SWEET and GENTLE personality. I enjoy being PETTED and FUSSED OVER, and I will roll over for BELLY RUBS and make biscuits in the air out of pure contentment. I’m ok with other CATS after a slow introduction, but I would do just as well as your ONE and ONLY. If you’re searching for an IDEAL CAT, one that you can PAMPER and ADORE, then make me your PRINCE and I will be your DEVOTED COMPANION furr-ever. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gizmo, a Long Beach Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
