Pongo is a sweetheart and very loving. He likes to play with his foster sister, gives lots of kisses and likes to cuddle. He also enjoys sleeping with his foster parents at night. He is crate and house trained and walks well on leash. However, since he was a stray, he tends to keep his nose to the ground quite a bit and reacts to loud noises. He does still need work walking on leash to help keep him focused and also needs patience when his rambunctious side comes out. He does still have puppy/high-energy tendencies a couple times a day, so antlers and extra tuff chew bones are a good distraction. He enjoys playing fetch and would love a yard to release energy and run free. He is very food driven, so training is a bit easier with him.
Our data base requires us to give an animal a breed. The breed given to the dog is our best estimate, and should not be used to predict future behavior.
