Facts about Pannini

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Pannini is a two-year-old grey and white female cat. A kindly resident brought her to us, she had been abandoned by residents that had moved out of the neighborhood. He indicated that she had borne a litter of kittens and lost them, they didn’t survive the birth. It was understandable, because our poor girl was thin, starving, dirty and terribly afraid. Our staff and volunteers went to work, caring for this gentle girl and reassuring her she was going to be ok, and life was going to be greatly improved for her. Slowly but surely Pannini is emerging from her shell, and is starting to trust and love again. Pannini will do well in a quiet and patient household that will allow her to test and stretch her own limits, until the day comes she is confident she is your cat, and you will keep her and protect her and love her.

At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

About PAAWS RI

About Our Shelter...

The mission of PAAWS RI is to provide services to Rhode Island’s most vulnerable populations of animals, through two specific programs.

The first part of our mission is to maintain a shelter/rescue program. Stray and abandoned animals have limited options for treatment through traditional veterinarians and shelters.

PAAWS RI will fill this gap with our shelter/rescue program and provide these homeless animals with shelter, medical care and rehabilitation. Once these animals are returned to
optimal health they will be adopted out to their forever home.

Many cats and dogs are suffering with easily treatable problems because affordable veterinary care is unavailable. We will fill that void with our program to provide funding for medical and surgical services. Recipients of these subsides will be animals belonging to low-income pet owners and shelter groups. Services include preventative and sick animal care, surgical and dental procedures, vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries.
