My name is Stella!

Labrador Retriever Mix Dog for adoption in Farmington, Minnesota - Stella

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Stella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Stella's Story...
Stella is a 3 year old lab mix who was found as a stray and never claimed. She's a friendly girl who has some energy, so best with a fenced in yard and she would love to have an owner who will work on some training with her. She will jump up when excited, and she is a strong puller on the leash. She's food motivated and a smart girl - she wants to please! She loves to play fetch - she already knows sit and is doing pretty well with stay. Even playing fetch in the dark, she will sniff to find her ball - she knows drop it. She would love to have a job. Best with kids 7 and up - she might knock the little ones over. She is choosy about her doggie friends , so best in a home as the only dog. She seems to do better with small dogs rather than dogs her size. The finder did have a cat and said she ignored the cat.

Adoption Fee $175

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Farmington Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Farmington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Farmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Farmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Farmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Farmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
