This handsome boy was rescued from a rural high kill shelter after his owner couldn't take care of him anymore. Nelson is a doll. He is such a cuddly, snuggly boy. He loves to play with his foster brothers and sisters and the cats are no problem either. He has the cutest expressions when his foster mom talks to him. His body is very short with tiny little legs. He's just a all around adorable little boy that will melt your heart. If you would like to meet this heartbreaker boy please email us at email@example.com
Southern Girls Pound Rescue is now a 501(c)(3) non- profit. We are Emily Morris and Amy Pitts, two ladies who rescue the dogs we can from our local high kill shelter, get them vet checked, healthy, and adopted to loving, safe homes. Beautiful, friendly, adoptable dogs and puppies are killed every week, and we try to save what we can hoping to make a small difference.
Come Meet Our Pets...
All of our dogs are fostered in our own homes or the homes of close personal friends. Visits with our dogs can be scheduled by appointment. Due to our work schedules, most visits will be evenings or weekends. We encourage in home visits if needed before a final decision before we adopt out our dogs. We want the most appropriate home for our dogs.
Our Adoption Process...
Our Adoption fee is $150.00, subject to change according to vet expenses. We require an adoption application and contract. A vet reference is required for every adoption. There is no fee to complete an application. Adoption fees are non-refundable.
