Quinta's Story...
I’m Quinta – I guess that means I was the 5th of my mom, Tavia’s, last eight kids! We led her a merry chase, but she was a great mom who is now very glad she is done with babies! Some of us are already adopted, but I’m coming soon to Twin Falls PetSmart. I hope you’ll stop in and meet me. I’m looking for a great INSIDE FOREVER home. I’m a pretty tuxedo type girl, with interesting black and white markings on my face that set off my beautiful green eyes. Although I spent my first weeks in a lovely chicken coop, I prefer INSIDE and PEOPLE, and that’s the kind of home I want. I’m spayed, done with my shots, negative for FIV/FELV, healthy and cheerful. I like adults very much, but am independent and curious, so I will want to explore my new home carefully. I get along well with other cats, but haven’t yet met any dogs or very small children, so I do hope, if that’s your household, that the kids are respectful and the dogs are polite! I’ll be looking forward to meeting you. Maybe I’m the one you’ve been waiting for!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quinta, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
