About Keanu:
Keanu is super sweet, cuddly, and affectionate. He is easy-going, loves being around people and is aimed to please; he loves to be petted. He is a smart puppy and learned everything quickly. He has already mastered some basic commands and is potty trained. He is very well behaved around people, young kids, and is good with dogs. Keanu is a playful pup; his favorite game is to play tug of war with his doggie pal. Please watch Keanu’s videos to learn how much joy this young puppy can bring to your family if you can give him a second chance in life.

Keanu’s rescue story:
Three puppies, 2 months old, were found abandoned in a carton by the side walk. A volunteer rescued them before the arrival of the animal catcher. Due to limited foster care available, these puppies had to settle in a vet hospital, waiting for the next vacancy.
The three puppies were named Karol, Keanu and Kane, respectively.
They spent six weeks in the cage of the hospital. The puppies were growing up fast, to find fosters for them became urgent. Thankfully, they got foster homes and Karol was adopted to San Francisco soon afterwards. Keanu and Kane are still patiently waiting for their forever homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keanu, a San Mateo German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in San Mateo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in San Mateo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Mateo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Mateo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Mateo paves the way for another one to be saved.
