Meet Winston. Isn't he beautiful!
Winston first showed up at the local shelter, brought in as a stray during the holidays. He was adopted but recently returned with a heavy heart and lots or tears due to changes in the family. His adopter said that he is such a good dog and, "I just want him to be well loved and have the best life with someone who adores him."
Winston is about 3 1/2 years old and weighs about 65 lbs. He's a little timid with new people, but will warm up with patience. He needs someone who is home most of the time or better yet be with a family with other dog(s) to keep him company while his people are away. Winston has separation anxiety but cannot be crated; he has escaped and destroyed crates. Luckily he didn't hurt himself.
He's been excellent and very gentle with dogs, cats, all people and children. If you would like to meet this big, sweet boy in person, please complete a pre-qualification form and someone will be in contact with you with more information
