Meet Santino, who his foster describes as “the best dog”. He’s had a rough life, which has led him to becoming a tri-pod after needing a back leg amputated, but he’s bounced back and is adjusting to life in a loving foster home!
Santino loves toys; he carries them all around, piles them up then sits in the pile and plays with them. He is great with other dogs of all sizes. He currently lives with two cats, and while he's curious about them, the cats are quick to give him a bop on the head when he is too close and he is respectful of their space!
Santino is working on crate training and house training. He's taken really easily to training. As a puppy, he's eager to learn and is picking up on new skills quickly! His missing leg doesn't slow him down at all, either. He's learned to adapt and loves to play and curl up for a cuddle on the couch!
