I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
When we meet dogs like Jarvis, we're not going to lie- our hearts break. Flat out, it sucks seeing these young, active dogs deteriorate in the kennels. Jarvis is a one year old American Pit Bull Terrier mix who has been at our shelter since Sept. 7th. Shelter life isn't easy for him. He wants to be OUT and running around playing or cuddling with someone who loves him (hey, isn't that what we ALL want?!). In his kennel, Jarvis doesn't "show" well; he jumps and barks constantly and adopters keep on walking. Out of his kennel though, Jarvis has SO much to offer a family! He's a sweet boy who settles down very quick and is happy to just walk around with you. He loves to cuddle and gives kisses! Jarvis also loves to chase the tennis ball, but once he pounces on it he isn't so sure of the next step lol. Maybe his new furever can teach him fetch. ;-)
A dog intro is required with Jarvis- if you have a dog at home, bring them in and we can help everyone meet. Jarvis may prefer to be the only pet in the home, but honestly- he's all you need! :-)
Please consider getting to know Jarvis away from all the noise and commotion of the kennels. You'll find he's a very sweet boy who just needs a chance! You can visit 1 yr old Jarvis at the East Valley shelter in Mesa (2630 W. Rio Salado Pkwy.) Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Jarvis' $20 adoption fee includes neuter, County license and rabies certificate. Jarvis- A3821908
