My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Redemption Rescue is a Fairfield County based German Shepherd Rescue with some amazing dogs looking for families of their own. Fully vetted and temperament tested to be sure that they are the perfect fit for their safe and loving forever family and home. We are excited to Introduce Gideon, a California native that is approximately 18-24 mos coated GSD, he is a sweet, friendly, fun and happy pup with an energetic disposition. A young dog that initially may be a little shy when he meets new people, warms up quickly. If Gideon is pushed to do something he does not want to do, he may becomes submissive unless threatened then he will bark and move away - all this tells us that he will benefit from a more experienced home that will offer him confident leadership that he can and will feed off of. We are currently testing other dogs and he likes most but we do not recommend cats because he can be a little animal selective. He does not appear to have a great prey drive but is curious about the squirrels that like run around his favorite bathroom. He does love to chase a ball and it is a great way burn his energy. We also would love to see Gideon find an active family that likes to hike, go to the beach and do other doggy friendly activities because he sooo enjoys doing things with his family. Gideon will benefit greatly from a trainer, which we ask all prospective adopters to under take with their new family member to facilitate and promote the bonding process. I do believe that Gideon will be happiest and reach his potential with an experienced German Shepherd owner. If you think he might be a perfect new family member for you, please PM me or call us at 203-830-9774 https://www.facebook.com/dez.lara.5/videos/1783242805251504/
