Ziggy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Ziggy's Story...
Ziggy is a SUPER sweet, DEAF 1.5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix. He weighs 63 pounds.

Ziggy loves to give kisses and get belly rubs. He loves to play with other dogs and is very active. Ziggy needs a fenced in yard to exercise in. He is willing to learn and being DEAF, would do best with another hearing dog in the household to follow along with. He loves alot of attention as most deaf dogs do since they are very dependent on their owners.

If you'd like to meet Ziggy, please email daldoglady@netzero.net Ziggy's adoption fee is $150.00 Home and vet checks required. An Adoption Application must be filled out at www.dalrescuetampabay.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a Tampa Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
