Bunny's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bunny's Story...
Adoption fee on this dog is $300.

Bunny was surrendered to rescue by her elderly owner who was unable to give her the care she needed.

Bunny is an 18 - 24 month, female, black and silver. She currently lives in a home with a large male GSD and 3 cats. She is curious about the cats and likes to sniff and clean them for as long as they let her.

Bunny is a super sweet cuddle bug; she is currently learning space, leash manners, and working on her house manners. She is house broken and sleeps on a dog bed in her foster mom's bedroom. Her and her foster brother stay in the house while mom is a work with no problems - as long as mom remembers to put her socks away :)

Bunny has a ton of energy and loves her stuffed animals, with that being said, she would do best in a home with older (over 10), respectful children.

This dog is a Level 2. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires. Go to our GCGSR Dogs page for an explanation of the Dog Rating Levels.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bunny, a Sacramento German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
