Facts about Goalie

  • Breed: Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Dachshund Mix
  • Color: Gray/Silver/Salt & Pepper - With Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Goalie is a 2 and 1/2 year old wired hair Dachshund mix who loves to play fetch. He will retrieve anything that you are willing to throw for as long as you are willing to throw it. He was a owner surrender because the toddler in the house would not respect the rights of Goalie the canine. Not a good environment for Goalie. He is playful, handsome, healthy and good with other dogs and humans, just not toddlers. School age children, 10 and older, depending upon the parents' instruction about how a dog deserves to be treated, should be fine. Call Lynn at 912 656 9792

About GRRR

About Our Rescue Group...

Georgia Rescue, Rehabilitation & Relocation (GRRR!) was established in 2011, as a small, independent rescue group. We are a 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization, E.I.N. #46-3142214, located in Savannah and licensed by the state of Ga. Our group began in 2012 when we started “officially ” doing the actual rescue work to save dogs. We step in when other rescue groups, animal control, or Humane Societies cannot in order to save at risk dogs. GRRR! focuses on saving dogs who might otherwise be euthanized due to medical conditions and inadequate socialization. GRRR! also focuses on reducing the number of dogs in local shelters who would otherwise be put to sleep due to overcrowding. These dogs flourish under the love and care of the GRRR! foster homes where self-esteem and trust issues are overcome.

Our foster homes provide the loving environment and GRRR! provides the financial support necessary to cover monthly medical expenses, veterinary care, and food. These same dogs are then listed for adoption, and become wonderful, loyal, loving, family members.
