Blaze's Story...
WE WILL BE HAVING A SPECIAL HOLIDAY ADOPTION EVENT THIS WEDNESDAY 12/21 FROM 6-8PM AT THE FORT COLLINS PETCO! Blaze is approximately 9-11 months old and a total goofball and SO handsome He is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines. He loves to play and loves to snuggle! He is great with other dogs and has done well with kittens. The lady who is watching him is teaching him tricks and he already has learned sit. She took him to be evaluated to possibly be a service dog and although they said he wasn't what they were looking for in a service dog, they did say he would make a great companion dog. He also does well on the leash and is also crate trained and potty trained! He is wonderful with kids and very eager to please. He will make someone SO happy. If you are interested in this sweet boy, please submit an application through our website aaanimalrescue.org. Please feel free to email with any questions allaboardanimalrescue@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blaze, a Fort Collins American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
