Rexy is a super sweet 2 year old boy that weighs about 60 pounds. His tail is always wagging when new and familiar people approach him. He's a dog who would love a backyard to be able to sunbathe and play in. He totally enjoys going for walks and smelling everything. He likes any kind of toy but really enjoys the chew toys ((more the merrier)) you give him and he LOVES playing fetch but won't always give the ball back. He is good with other dogs ((BIG & small)) and gets along with kids. He is house-trained & crate trained but really enjoys laying around on the couch and will totally crawl up in bed with you to cuddle. He is hilarious in the bath when you give him one and really loves splashing around. Rexy knows sit, paw, and down and will come running when you call him in the house. He walks good on the leash when he wears a harness. Rexy is super sweet with people and love attention. He's just a sweet boy who will bring you lots of joy!
Rexy is current is on his vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He will be neutered prior to adoption. You're guaranteed to fall in love with Rexy the minute you meet him! Please email enb313@gmail.com for an application.

About Diamonds in the Ruff Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

"Diamonds in a Ruff Rescue" is a foster-based, all-breed, no-kill animal rescue based in Philadelphia, PA that offers rescue and sanctuary to animals in need. We do not have a physical shelter you can visit - all of our animals are housed in foster homes. We are made up of volunteers and foster homes that care for and socialize our animals. Most of our animals have been rescued from "death row" from high-kill shelters and given a second chance at life. Our goal is to offer each and every one of these animals a safe, permanent and loving home. We also offer people the ability to surrender their dogs to us instead of surrendering their pet to a high-kill shelter if they can no longer take care of them. Please help us to give each of these animals the life they deserve.

Our Adoption Process...

You will be asked to fill out an adoption application giving us information about yourself, your family and your experience with pets. You will need to provide a vet reference and multiple personal references. Our goal is to find our animals the best possible home. Our adoption fee is $375 for dogs under 1 year old and $250 for dogs 1 year and older. The adoption fee includes a wellness exam, all age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing when age appropriate, heartworm treatment if necessary, worming, microchip, 30 days of free pet insurance and phone/email support from our dog trainer and discounted rates on any training scheduled with our dog

**We DO require that ALL dogs and cats in your household are spayed or neutered, kept up-to-date on vaccines and that they are seen annually for a check-up.
**We do NOT require a fenced in yard unless otherwise noted for a specific pet.
**We do NOT SHIP animals. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets and live outside of our area, you will be required to come meet and adopt the animal in person if your application is approved.
**We do NOT adopt to anyone under 25 years old.
**ALL APPLICANTS MUST GO THROUGH OUR ENTIRE ADOPTION APPLICATION PROCESS - WE DO NOT MAKE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.
