Batman had Robin. Captain America had Bucky Barnes. Blue Falcon had Dynomutt. Every Superhero has a crime fighting sidekick. You need a Dog Wonder, like me. Let me introduce myself, I'm Denver and I've got KELPIE POWER!

Don't know what that is? Well, I'm SO glad you asked. Kelpie Power is something only Australian Kelpies have. It makes me a compact, robust, enthusiastic and tireless working dog that loves to herd everything: people, animals, and even my toys.

Some of my fellow Kelpies have used their powers as search and rescue dogs, detection dogs, hearing dogs, assistance dogs, or therapy dogs. For me, I excel as a watchdog. I will bark to let you know of anything or anyone unusual, especially when I see rug-rats on those moving wheels. Which I'm told might be a "Dog Blunder" but I got to warn you they're coming... just like Paul Revere did with the Red Coats!

Let get back to my positives. Did I mention I'm athletic? Agility, flyball, flying disc games, you name it, I can do it! All I want to do is please my partner. I've been bred to work with be an indoor family pet...when not outside with you. I'll be glad to bring -the paper, your slippers, or any dirty laundry left on the floor- to you. If you can teach it, I can learn it. In fact, my favorite thing in life is working and playing (which is same thing for me). I'm intelligent and incredible at problem solving. I learn everything extremely fast and I am extremely loyal. I crave a "good boy" or pat on the head from you, with some treats -okay, all the treats- I can get!

After a hard day of work, I enjoy leisure time in our base of operations, until our next alerted by my Denver Dash, where we immediately switch to our secret identities, as the Daring Duo. What else can be better than that?

If you are ready to partner with me, you must be able to answer YES to these questions. Can you provide this highly intelligent dog with a challenging job? Are you able to provide loving leadership, fair and consistent training, and plenty of daily exercise? If so, then click on that application and do it. I promise it will be the best decision you'll ever make! We will be the DYNAMIC DUO!

Love your DOG WONDER,

About Paws In The City

About Our Rescue Group...

Paws In The City® is committed to supporting the City of Dallas Animal Shelter by hosting off-site adoptions for the dogs and spay/neuter education and fundraising through specific outreach programs.

Paws In The City is a nonprofit, 501 (c) 3 organization committed to ending overpopulation, abuse and neglect of Dallas dogs and cats . We are an all volunteer organization with no paid staff.

Paws In The City is committed to the following goals:

 Rescuing homeless dogs and cats from the City of Dallas animal shelters by sponsoring off-site adoptions to find these abandoned animals terrific, loving homes…often many of these wonderful pets are days away from being euthanized simply because there are not enough homes... a tragedy we are determined to end;

 Providing a comforting and positive environment for adoptions;

 Providing medical care to neglected, abused, and injured animals through our outreach efforts;

 Educating the public on responsible pet ownership; and

 Supporting spay and neuter programs…the simple, common sense solution to ending the number of unwanted dogs and cats on our streets and in our city shelters.

Why we do it
