My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is an adorable little black and tan Chihuahua / Terrier mix who is about 2 years old and weighs just 13 lbs. This poor little guy was abandoned by his owners when they moved. He was running loose for about a month in Smyrna, TN until a little girl was able to coax him into their backyard. They could not keep him so he came to Healing Hearts. Charlie is shy at first around adults but is great with children and very patient with small children. He is ok with other dogs and cats if given time to adjust. Charlie is neutered, heartworm-negative, has his 3 year rabies shot, 3 year distemper shot and one year Bordetella shot, dewormed, microchipped and given flea and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $200. Charlie will be attending our Adoption Day this Saturday at the Madison PetSmart from 10 am to 2 pm. He is now available for adoption.
