Rusty is a funny, lovable 8 lb Miniature Pincer/Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix, with big beautiful brown eyes. His favorite pastimes are snuggling up on a warm lap and being held and petted by his people. He loves to give kisses and will even climb under the covers at night with you like a personal bed warmer! He bounces and squeaks when his people come home and loves to go for little walks around the yard or the neighborhood (he’s great on a leash). He does prefer a calmer household, so a home with older kids or just adults would be a good match for him. He was rescued by his current family but they can’t keep him because he’s become very nervous around their young active children. Rusty’s not aggressive at all, he just needs a quiet home. He is OK with other calm dogs, but could also be an only dog. Rusty is housebroken as long as he’s taken out regularly, and will go into his crate when unfamiliar people come to the house. He does prefer to sleep with his people.
