Franklin (Neutered)'s Story...
"Franklin" is a darling one-year old male kitty who arrived at the HSOV on November 14, 2016 after he was found in the Vincent Ohio area and brought to the safety of our shelter. This suave, debonair young man has a brown tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a very handsome face with golden eyes, a brown button nose, and long white whiskers. "Franklin" has a sweet, gentle disposition and a lovable, easygoing personality. He was willing to indulge our photographer and agreed to pose in a white collar and red plaid bow tie .. And "Franklin" looked quite charming indeed. There's something very appealing about a young man in a sporty bow tie :) "Franklin" was given vaccinations, wormer, and Revolution flea treatment on November 14, 2016. He weighs 7.8 lbs. and is the perfect size for a nice little lap kitty. "Franklin" was neutered on November 16, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Franklin (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
