zoe's Story...
Please submit applications at www.sophiedogrescue.org - read entire description to see if this dog is for you!

Zoe is a sweet little 10 pound girl. We believe she is a mix of a cairn terrier and schnauzer. At 10 pounds and three years old this is as big as she will get. This little one was originally turned into a shelter in Indiana with four pups. Adopted by a family they decided they did not want a dog so back to a second IN shelter she went. Finally she found her way to our rescue here in Cincinnati. Zoe is a sweet little one that loves to sit in your lap and will sleep quietly at your feet. She has been moved a lot in her life so she will need patience and love. Nice on a leash she will make a wonderful companion although we are not going to place her with young children unless it is a very experienced home. We want this to be her last and final home!. Her adoption fee is $325 and includes spay, microchip, vaccinations, deworming, neg HW test and is current on flea/heart worm medications. Please fill out an application at www.sophiedogrescue.org if you are interested in bringing her into your home. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

zoe, a Cincinnati Schnauzer (Miniature)/Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Cairn Terrier for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
