Meet our lovely little Lulu! She is a 10 lb, 4 year old adorable chihuahua. Lulu came to us with a Bi-lateral Inguinal hernia (the size of a cantaloupe)! We had it surgically repaired and after months of crate rest she has fully recovered. Lulu is so sweet and full of life, even through her recovery you would never know anything was wrong. She is house trained, crate trained, walks great on the leash & rides great in a car. Loves other dogs of all sizes, fine with cats and gentle with children. She is playful, but also loves to cuddle up next to you on the couch for some nap time. She is the perfect little gal who can't wait to find her FURever family! Lulu is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250.
*Lulu has a small lump on her hip area. We had the vet check it out and it appears to be a mass with cyst components- not cancerous. There is no further treatment recommended at this time other than monitoring for growth. Lulu's abdomen wall has weakened from the large hernias and should also be monitored for signs of recurrence.
All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.
We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.
All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.
Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
