Facts about Linus

  • Breed: Cattle Dog Mix
  • Color: White - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Linus was abandoned at a high kill shelter most likely because he lost his sight, he was in bad shape with other issues as well but he became happy a d healthy again with time and human kindness. He is still blind but you would never know, he enjoys every moment he has been given. He is a big boy and lives his walks, he does well with other dogs if given time to know and trust them, he is never going g to e your dog park kind of guy and should probably not live with small dogs ecause he has a bit of a prey drive. He is very mellow and would be great companionship for the right person. Please consider giving this beauty a home of his own, even blind dogs need love...

About Hank's Hostel Fur Hounds

About Our Rescue Group...

I chose to do senior and special needs rescue because these types of dogs are often left behind and seldom get adopted from shelters, we also offer a forever foster program for some of Hank's Hounds where we supply the food and vetting for the rest of the senior's life as long as it is with our approved rescue vet.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee depends on the dog you are adopting, since we are a senior and special needs rescue sometimes fees go's towards future vetting and such. There is an application to adopt and if that looks good we will schedule a meet and greet with the dog you are interested in, if this go's well we will do a home check upon which if both parties agree to the adoption and terms of an adoption contract will be required. We do require personal references as well as one from your Vet.
