Dolly Pawton's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Dolly Pawton's Story...
"Here I am,
If you need a love that's true,
Need someone to walk by you,
Here I am,
If you need a helping paw, need someone to understand,
Here I am, I'm reaching out to give you love that you're without,
I can help you find what you've been looking for,
Here I am, come to me, take my paw 'cause I believe,
I can give you all the love you need and more,
My world is such an empty place,
I need someone to fill the space,
'Cause I've got so much love to give,
I need someone to share it with,
Oh here I am, oh here I am, here I am"

I enjoy plenty of attention and going for walks. I do like playing with toys and I get along with people I have met here. I'm not a big fan of other dogs, so I would most likely prefer to be an only dog. But if you do have a doggie in your life already, we can have a meet and greet to see if we would all get along. I tend to really enjoy my food, so I'm not a big sharer. I would be best in a home without very small children (5 and up). If I'm the girl for you, then come on down to the shelter to adopt me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly Pawton, a Harrisonburg Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
