Meet Mistletoe! Mistletoe is a 2 Yr Spayed Female Pit/Mix. Mistletoe was found as a stray on the streets in Phoenix by a caring citizen who tried to find her owner. It was pretty obvious that no one was looking for her so she has been in foster ever since and is waiting for her forever family to come meet her. Mistletoe is the sweetest girl who walks well on a leash, loves laps, belly rubs, and to bathe you with her sweet kisses. Mistletoe is not a fan of her small dogs or cats but does loves other dogs her size and to run and play with them.

About Chi Town Rescue

About Our Shelter...

"Chi Town" is short for "Chihuahua Town," which is our nick-name because we found that the majority of animals we were rescuing happened to be Chihuahuas and literally have a little “town” comprised of Chihuahuas! Chihuahuas are one of the most over-bred dogs in Arizona and unfortunately many end up in need of rescue. However, we are not limited to saving just Chihuahas, we do save other breeds dependent on availability of space. Chi Town also specializes in rescuing dogs who require a little extra TLC and are at risk of euthanasia at county shelters. These dogs may not be doing well for a variety of reasons- fear, fear aggression, anxiety, or a medical issue to name a few. These are the dogs that typically have no other outlet and for which time is of the essence . After our dogs are medically cleared and/or their behavioral issues have improved, they are available for adoption.

Please be aware that we do our very best to answer all questions in a timely manner.

We are always seeking to help promote these special Chihuahuas who are too often overlooked in AZ shelters due to the sheer volume of this breed. Please share and like us on Facebook:
