Both ANAIS and ALETA (she has an extra posting) were found in the streets of Tijuana beginning of August and brought to safety by my local Rescue contact.
I have on purpose posted a photo how both looked like before.
Both girls (we are not sure what mixed breed they are, but some retriever might be in) have had weekly checkups with a local vet for 2 months, incl. treatment against mange. As you can see in the other photos they have overcome it and they are looking wonderful.
While ALETA is very controlling over her sister ANAIS is very gentle and tolerates her sister. they should not be adopted in the same home as the competition and dominance will not benefit ANAIS and she will not be able to break free from her controlling sister, what is playful now might escalate as they grow older.
ADR.org has not received any valuable applications - hence both dogs are still in a good foster home in CA. ADR is planning to get them on a transport to WA as soon as there is some interest.
Both girls have been spayed, and have received all initial series/sets of Puppy vaccinations. For the transport they will also receive Rabies, a heartworm test, and a health certificate (both required for ground transportation between CA and WA.
ADR.org is not sure how big they will be full grown but we would say about 35 -40lbs. per November their weight is ~25 lbs.
BUT most important they are SAFE and nobody will harm, chase, or even worse try to beat them.
If you would like to adopt one of these adorable girls, please contact the founder of AnimalDefense Rescue.org WA at ADR@animaldefenserescue.org.
