Freddie's Story...
FREDDIE is a 6 yr old Pekinese/Pomeranian mix who was surrendered to theshelter. 😢 Unfortunately, his only family member suffered a stroke and is no longer able to care for him. Freddie is house-trained, leash-trained, and knows basic commands. He is great with children, loves to snuggle with cats, friendly with other dogs, but must sleep on a comfy pillow! Yes, this precious boy has been pampered and loved, and it is our fervent wish that he find his new loving family ASAP! 💜 Freddie is a bona-fide lap dog who doles out affection and sweet doggie kisses to everyone. Understandably, he is somewhat confused at the moment, but once Freddie is in a loving home again, his wonderful personality will shine through! Freddie is utd, heartworm negative (tested below detectable levels) and neutered!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freddie, a Grand Bay Pekingese/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese/Pomeranian for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Pekingese/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese/Pomeranian breeders who help with Pekingese/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
