Teddy is a handsome ginger Tabby about 2 yrs. old. He is sweet, friendly and gentle.He's a bit shy at first but he warms almost instantly. He really likes to have his chin scratched and be petted for a bit. Teddy will rub against your legs and will also be happy to roll over for a chest rub, but no tummies, please!
You can pick Teddy up but he doesn’t like to be held for more than a kiss and a hug. He does like to be where you are and will sometimes want to sit on your lap or next to you for a snooze while you watch TV or read a book.
Teddy loves his catnip toys and likes to play chase with his sparkle mice and sparkle balls. He would love to have you toss them across the room but also plays by himself when the mood strikes.
Teddy is a bit skittish so he will run at unexpected noise. But he is a sweet and affectionate kitty who would make a great companion. Though he would be fine as an only kitty Teddy would probably love to be in a home with other friendly kitties and maybe even a nice dog.
Teddy is INDOOR ONLY.

All Jake’s Place cats available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.
Our Adoption Fee for Teddy is $110. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia Testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails at any time. All Fees will be returned if the adoption fails within 90 days.
Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.
