Sierra's Story...
Uodate: 12.18.16
Sierra is now ready for her forever home. She is still a little shy, but warms up quickly! She is doing great going out in the fenced yard to potty, will go right to the door if she needs to go out. Not sure about a leash, she is not a fan of being on a leash so a fenced yard would be wonderful for her. I’m sure she would learn the leash, but it might take some time. She has been spayed, is up to date on her shots, microchipped and on HW preventative. She weighed 30 lbs when at the vet this week. She is estimated to be about 5 months old. If you are interested, submit an application on our website. Her adoption donation is $300.

Sierra is a loving sweet Puppy. She was rescued from Tennessee and what was once a shy timid puppy is now a funny, loving, and easy to train puppy. I think she is a terrier lab mix but I am not sure. She is up to date on shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sierra, a Homer Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Homer, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Homer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homer paves the way for another one to be saved.
