Ranger. A 2 year old German Shepherd. About 50 pounds. Someone was not kind to Ranger in his former life, with either their words or their hands. This sweet boy is a Velcro dog. He is learning to trust and wants to be by his person all of the time. The perfect home for Ranger would be one in which someone either works from home or is home more than they are gone. A quieter home with someone who understands his past and where he is today. Someone that is patient enough to recognize his potential to become a wonderful dog. Ranger is a blank slate. He is crate trained and his crate is his safe haven. Ranger is in a foster home with dogs of all sizes and does well with all of them. A home with older kids will be given preference.
The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.
