JAKE HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. Jake is an adorable 10 week old pup who came to Canine Lifeline from the Caribbean island of Anguilla. Anguilla is a very small island, only 35 square miles and 14,000 people, so there are not enough homes for all the pups born there. Our friends Diane and Jeff were vacationing in Anguilla recently and brought Jake and his little sister Jasmine back to the states so they would have a safe and happy life. Island dogs are the best little mutts and make great companions. We expect that Jake will weigh about 40-45 pounds when he’s full-grown but it’s hard to know for sure. He’s a lovable and smart little guy who loves to play with stuffed toys. Jake weighed 10 pounds on 11-14-16. His adoption fee is $275. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations for his age, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Jake. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs.   We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.

About Canine Lifeline

About Our Rescue Group...

Canine Lifeline is an all volunteer 501(c)3 organization with a mission to save adoptable dogs from being euthanized at shelters due to overcrowding or treatable medical conditions such as heartworm. All of our dogs are in foster homes throughout northeast Ohio.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Canine Lifeline takes adoptable dogs to Petco in Macedonia most Sunday's. We also participate in many adoption events throughout the summer months. Please check our website at www.caninelifeline.org for the most current adoption event listing.

Our Adoption Process...

All Canine Lifeline dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations including a one-year rabies, and are on monthly heartworm preventative. In the warmer months of the year, our dogs are also on a flea and tick preventative. The adoption fee for dogs 7 months up to 7 years of age is $200. Senior dogs may be adopted for a reduced fee of $125. Puppies 6 months and under are $275. Since all of our dogs come from shelters and have been stray or abandoned at least once in their lives, we want to make sure that their next home is for keeps. That’s why each adoption comes with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a perfect match before the adoption is finalized.
