HAPPY LITTLE BOY WAITING FOR YOU TO RUB HIS WARM, SILKY SNOWY WHITE FUR
Hello friends! My name is Dustin. I am an adorable little boy getting ready to celebrate my first birthday. I would love nothing more than to mark this milestone by going home with my very own purrson to be loved and cherished!
I found myself in a public shelter for unknown reasons when I was just a little kitten. King Street Cats came and recognized what potential my sisters Darla and Diamond and I have. They welcomed us into their family and assured us that our futures were very bright.
I am a beautiful little boy with soft, silky short length fur. I'm made up of mostly snowy white fur. Add to this some warm honey colored patches with tabby markings, bright golden eyes and a little pink nose. You will love petting me gently because I am so warm and soft.
My sisters are still a little shy but I am an outgoing boy! I feel happy and confident with my sisters by my side. In an ideal world, an amazing purrson would come along and agree to adopt all three of us together. We know that's a tall order even though we're thoroughly fabulous. If that's not possible, please adopt two of us together or ask our friends here to recommend another deserving KSC kitty with whom I would pair well.
There are distinct advantages to both cats and humans when two companionable cats are adopted together – this is particularly true for young kitties like me. Same-species companionship is important for compatible cats and especially so for kittens. We provide each other the opportunity to burn energy (very important for indoor housecats, as we will be) through play and exercise. We groom each other.
We moderate each other's behavior as we learn. Here's a hypothetical example - if my best friend nips me, one swat with my little paw will send the message that this is not OK - then my friend will think twice before nipping me again! We snuggle and cuddle and sleep together. We entertain and provide each other with a sense of security when you cannot be with us. You, in turn, don't have to worry about leaving a cat alone when you have to go out, and you will enjoy twice the happiness and companionship.
If you are a gentle, patient cat lover looking for new best friends and grateful companions, please come to meet me and my friends. It’s easy to get started: send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for me, Dustin. I promise to love you wholeheartedly.
