Tasha's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING!! Meet Tasha! Tasha is a purebred female Miniature American Eskimo Dog. Tasha is beautiful and very sweet. Tasha is quite shy at first, slow to warm up, but once she knows you she is the sweetest little Eskie! Tasha loves to be close and cuddle and after she gets used to her new surroundings, she will get silly and playful. Tasha will walk on leash but is hesitant, as leash walking is still somewhat new to her. Tasha does great in a fully fenced yard. Tasha travels fine, but will be scared in new places until she gets adjusted. Tasha will use a crate, but would prefer not too. She is housebroken and an all around good girl. Tasha is probably not the best dog for a family with young children, as all the shouts and giggles, all the running and tumbling would have her hiding in the corner. Tasha loves other dogs and would enjoy a sibling to hang and play with. Tasha is spayed and fully vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm and flea/tick preotection.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tasha, a Elmhurst American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Elmhurst, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Elmhurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmhurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmhurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmhurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
