Freya is a beautiful golden brindle blockhead who lost her home when her owner needed to rehome all of his pets to take care of his mental health. Freya's dad loved her very much, but severe depression has taken its toll, so Freya is looking for a new family to love. She's very well trained, she does great with other dogs, she's crate trained and housebroken, and she has a pretty laid back demeanor for a 1 year old dog. Given the chance, she'll chase the chickens and she did show some interest in the cats at a recent adoption event, but seems as if she's a gal who can be taught to leave the kitty alone. Freya tries very hard to please, and she's a pretty easy dog to live with, so it should not take long to find her forever home. Are you looking for a young dog who someone else did the early training on? Freya's your gal! Email sotb.adoptions@gmail.com to find out more about Freya.

Our adoption fee is $195. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Approval Process for South of the Bully

• An Adoption Application must be completed and approved. We call and check vet references to make sure any current pets are up to date with vaccinations and check length of time under vet care. We review all their current pets and ask questions about their temperament to make sure the dog they want to adopt would be a good fit.

• If a dog has been chosen, a meet and greet is arranged if requested AFTER the application is approved. If they have other pets, we also like them to meet at this time, if possible.

• The final step is a home visit. If the home visit is approved the potential adopters can begin their 14 day trial adoption period. Our adoption fee is $195 which includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip. If for some reason the dog isn’t a fit in their home we refund $95 of the adoption fee within the 14 day trial period. This is all listed in our Adoption Contract.

• We offer training support and resources for the lifetime of the dog once adopted. Our contract states that if for any reason they cannot continue to provide care for one of our dogs that it be returned to our rescue.
