Dixie's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING**NOT AVAILABLE
Dixie is ready to find her forever home for in the new year. She is a petite Doberman mix puppy that is sweet as can be. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is about 1 year old and has lots of puppy energy and loves to run and play with other dogs. Dixie is very sweet and loves to snuggle! She loves people and kids over 6 years old and other playful dogs. She is quickly learning basic commands of sit, down, and shake. She's potty trained and loves to go for car rides, but she does not like being in the crate for long hours. Dixie will need some basic obedience classes just like all puppies do but she is a very smart girl. She is being fostered in Lafayette, In and her adoption fee is $200. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Lafayette Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Lafayette, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Lafayette.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lafayette already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lafayette breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lafayette paves the way for another one to be saved.
