Otis is a courtesy post made by All Paws Rescue, Inc. We are helping Otis' family re-home him but he is not an All Paws foster pet so the fees, policies and guarantees that accompany an All Paws pet do not apply to Otis. To inquire about Otis, please contact his Mama, Kate, at 720-690-9557 (she is local to the St. Charles County area) or our All Paws representative Kim at 314-941-9600.

To my new mommy or daddy:

I’m waiting patiently for your love to come my way.  I’m 8 years old, with long white hair, one blue eye and one yellow eye, and one crooked ear.  My current mommy and daddy love me very much and are very sad that I am no longer happy at their house.  But you see, it’s not that I don’t love mommy and daddy, I do.  I’m just very afraid of their newest addition.  They have a little boy who is now 2 years old.  His crying scared me as a baby, but he was so small and didn’t move, it was ok.  I would just run and hide in the basement until it was quiet again.  Well, now he runs!  I don’t like it when he runs.  When he runs, the dog runs too; they both move too fast for me!  And he’s so loud!  He sings and yells and laughs and bangs his toys around.  Even though mommy and daddy are teaching him to be slow and calm around me (and he has never hurt me, ever), I’m just so afraid of him!

I like a nice quiet life.  I’m so sad here now.  I hide all the time, and only come up to mommy and daddy for attention when they are dead asleep, because I know that’s the only time I’m guaranteed to not have the little boy around.  I miss laying out in the sun by the patio door.  I miss watching the birds from the windows and laying on my back with my belly exposed.  I don’t like being afraid all the time.  Could you come get me soon, my new mommy or daddy?  I’ve been told my new home will be calm and quiet, with no little kids around to scare me.  I’m ok with another kitty, in fact I’d probably love to have a buddy, but I am very submissive and scared when I meet someone new, so please make it a slow introduction.  I promise to give you so much love and affection.  My purrs are magical and I will bring peace and joy to your life.

Please come soon!  I would really like to spend Christmas with you!  Your baby boy, Otis

*We love Otis and want him to have a happy home.  We believe he deserves to enjoy his life.  Otis is neutered and up to date on his vaccines and has a complete set of medical records (He has had no major health issues and is not on any medication).  He is a little over weight right now, but he eats his emotions and will do better on a diet.

With so much love, his current mommy and daddy

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have adoption events at local Petsmart stores every weekend. Events usually run from 10 - 3.
You can always call or email during the week and a foster parent could set up a meeting with you.
adopt@allpawsrescue.info or 636-288-2999.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee for dogs is $125 and $90 for cats, regardless of whether the pet is a pure breed or a mixed breed. All of our pets are Vet checked for health, spayed or neutered, wormed, up-to-date on all vaccinations and micro-chipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, and placed on preventative. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All injured pets receive any treatment or surgery needed to restore them back to good health!
To adopt a pet from All Paws, or to find more information on one of our pets, visit us at any adoption event, e-mail us at adopt@allpawsrescue.info, write us, or call us on the PAWS Line at 636-288-2999. Because we are a foster home network, we make efforts to meet adopters at times and places convenient to all involved. We do ask potential adopters to first complete a pre-adoption form, for the purpose of ensuring your compatibility with a pet, as well as your eligibility to own a pet. After the pre-adoption form is reviewed and OK'd, we require adopters to complete an adoption contract. We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, politics, gender, or sexual orientation; but reserve the right to refuse adoptions based on the information we interpret from these forms, with regard to legalities, and the pet's needs or requirements. We try very hard to make every adoption, a happy and satisfactory one!
