Wynn is a sweet and mellow guy who loves to hang around his human master(s).  He will follow you everywhere you go as he wants to know where his master is at all times. Wynn loves to be curled next to you on the sofa and is a wonderful lap dog. He also does not mind being left alone on the couch to nap, as he is a professional napper! He enjoys treats and has learned “sit” when it time for a treat. Wynn is working on his leash training, he knows when his master grabs the leash, it is time for a walk. He is a very intelligent dachshund and will succeed in his training with a little patience and lots of love. Wynn also loves sunbathing, especially if he can take a nap while sunbathing! When his foster Mom does not let him sunbathe on the patio, he will lay next to the patio door to sunbathe through the glass windows. He sleeps throughout the entire night in his crate without a peep. Wynn will make a great companion for anyone and is ready to find his forever home!

About Dachshund Rescue of Houston

About Our Rescue Group...

We have one sole purpose and that is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home Dachshunds in need of a second chance at life and love. We rescue purebred (and a few mixed) dachshunds from pounds and shelters. Some have had a wonderful life but were dumped by their only family at a shelter for no reason at all, while others have been abused, abandoned, neglected and starved of food and human affection their entire life. We believe there is a home somewhere for every dog rescued; some just take a little longer to find.
