Missy's Story...
MIssy is a roly poly bassety barrel of love! She is about 6 years old and finds herself in need of a new furever home.
Missy has lost most of her sight but don't let this scare you off! Bassets are scent hounds and when they lose some vision, they merely rely on their noses a little more. As long as you don't move the furniture she navigates life with no problems.
MIssy takes her cuddling very seriously. Be it walking or snuggling up next to her human, she is happiest when they are near by.
Missy is chipped, spayed, up to date on shots & hw negative.
Her adoption fee is $200 She is located in NM

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Albuquerque Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Albuquerque, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Albuquerque.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albuquerque already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albuquerque breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albuquerque paves the way for another one to be saved.
