Mickey is an all-around great guy!  He's a lab mix who seems to love everyone he meets.  He greets strangers with an excited wag and then leans in for scratches.  He will snuggle with any human or dog.  Mickey loves to just spend time outside watching squirrels, but is also content to sleep at his foster mom's feet while she works . He does pull on a leash and will need some work on that -- especially when it's time to pass by some humans he hasn't met yet.  Mickey is doing well with housebreaking and now has only an occasional accident.  We're stumped about his age, the paperwork says 4 years old - but that was a guess.  We all think he's closer to 1 1/2 or 2 years old.  The foster family is really enjoying fostering Mickey and can't wait to find his forever home!

Our dogs are all fostered in private homes, and all adopters must go through our screening process before being put in contact with the foster family.  By responding to our email inquiries quickly, you can help speed up the approval process!

About Rogers' Rescues

About Our Rescue Group...

Rogers' Rescues is an all-breed dog rescue that relies on our network of foster homes to care for all our adoptable dogs. In addition, committed volunteers work behind the scenes to facilitate the adoption process, plan fundraising events, and more.

Despite not having a physical location, Rogers’ Rescues has found loving homes for over a thousand dogs since its founding in June, 2002.

All our fosters are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm preventative, flea and tick preventative, and are spayed or neutered. Puppies under six months are not spayed or neutered and it is the responsibility of the adopter to have the dog altered at six months of age.
