BootsCP's Story...
Boots is looking for a foster or new forever home since her family is being forced to move and cannot take her along. Boots is good with kids – she used to sleep in the crib with her human siblings. She’ll play with their balls and toys and loves to run and follow her brother when he’s dragging a string behind him. She also enjoys chasing after balls if you throw them for her.

Boots doesn't mind small dogs, but she is afraid of big dogs. She gets along great with other cats when she gets used to them. She will hide for a while, but after she is comfortable she will come out and play.
Boots isn’t crazy about being held but otherwise enjoys contact.

If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Boots, please contact April at 717-636-3262 or goldust7262006@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BootsCP, a Carlisle Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
