Fester's Story...
Hello! My name is Fester. I was named after the crazy Uncle from the Adams Family. I am a beautiful, short haired tabby with a partially white face, white back paws, and white front toes. Though very timid at first (I hid for the first two weeks in his foster home), I am now very outgoing and affectionate, and come running when I hear my foster mom. Just like my best friend Pugsley, I LOVE attention. I follow my foster mom around the house with Pugsley, and love sitting on the couch with them. I also love cat napping and laying in the sunlight next to my best friend, Pugsley. I am part of a bonded pair with my brother Pugsley and would love to find a forever home with him. If you are interested in us call the shelter to set up an appointment to see us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fester, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
