Cypress's Story...
About Cypress
Cypress is a typical fun kitten. He loves toys & playing with his littermates. He can be silly at times, shy at times. He was born in mid-August & came to us when his mom picked a garage that belonged to one of our foster families to have her babies. All have been very healthy & sweet kittens. Cypress is the smallest of the boys & has more of a medium length haircoat. He is quite handsome. He has had contact with other cats & cat friendly dogs. He can be cuddly & likely would be fine with children. Cypress has been dewormed & vaccinated appropriate to his age & tested for Feline Leukemia & FIV; he will be neutered & microchipped when he is a little older. To meet Cypress, call 540/586-6100 or go to bhsva.org to get an Adoption Application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cypress, a Bedford Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
