11/18/16 Medical Foster: Phillip came to our shelter as a kitten who needed some care. He has a contagious feline upper respiratory infection and needs to be isolated in a place without other cats or kittens while he is given time to recover. We werenÂ’t sure what to do - until Erin, one of our amazing staff members asked to foster Phillip. Phillip is with her now where Erin is providing him with all the love, warmth and care in the world!

Phillip is responding well to treatment but is still contagious. While there is no guarantee that this precious boy will make a full recovery - he can be adopted into a home if there are no other cats and/or if a current cat in the home already has this virus. Phillip is a very nice kitten with a great personality! Phillip would need to be an indoor only cat as weÂ’d want to be sure the illness does not spread to other cats in the area.

Want to learn more about Phillip? Give us a call at 707-565-7100 as weÂ’d love to find this precious boy a home! Also please feel free to have your own veterinarian call ours to discuss Phillip''s case in more detail. Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application and adoption fee for all animals. Landlord approval is needed for adoptions, if you are a renter.

The cost of adoptiong a cat or dog includes spay or neuter, vaccination(s), dewormer, flea treatment as needed, microchip, and a travel box or leash. Kittens are tested for Feline Leukemia and adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia Aids. Dogs are tested for Heartworm for an additional fee upon request. You are required to purchase a dog license if you live within our jurisdiction (an annual fee) and required to register a cat (a one time fee) at the time of adoption.

Adoption fees are based on the age and type of pet being adopted, and potentially, the length of time they have been at the shelter. Cats and kittens range from $52.50 to $132.00, dogs and puppies range from $94.00 to $168.00 and other animals range from $10.50 to $50.00.
