Larry's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Larry's Story...
Larry was on the chopping block at a SC shelter due to overcrowding and his advanced age. Larry is a very sweet senior, heart worm negative, fully vetted. He has had extra bloodwork because of his age and everything appears normal.

Larry lives with cats and other dogs from tiny to large in his foster home and gets along with them just fine, not an aggressive bone in his body! If you are looking for a lovely older dog to share your life with, contact us about Larry.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Larry, a Summerville Australian Cattle Dog/Norwegian Elkhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Norwegian Elkhound for sale in Summerville, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Norwegian Elkhound dog from a breeder in Summerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Summerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Summerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Norwegian Elkhound breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Norwegian Elkhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Summerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
