My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET KINGSTON!! This adorable 6 week old lab mix pup unfortunately found himself dumped on a nice family’s front porch. The family that found him could not keep him, and with no owners found, Kingston needed somewhere to go. So here he is! He is a cute, typical puppy looking for his forever home. He has settled in to his foster home and is doing well. Kingston is a little guy and will probably be on the smaller side when he’s full grown. Keep checking back for updates on Kingston as we learn more about his personality in his foster home!

Foster Update 11/10: Kingston has truly been a joy to have in our house. After just a few days to get his bearings, he is now fully involved with our daily routine and with his foster siblings. He has a great personality, but we can’t seem to convince him that he’s not one of the “bigs” yet – he wants to play with his full-grown lab foster sibs when they get to wrestling in the yard. He has been easy to train and is very vocal when he needs to go out. He loves to play with his toys when we put him in his pen to keep him out from underfoot. He is sleeping through the night, although his nights are a little shorter than we would like them to be 🙂. This past weekend, we took him on a roadtrip to Virginia for our family’s apple butter festival and he was the hit of the event. He was surrounded by people (mostly little ones) who wanted to pet and play with him for hours on end. He was a great sport and definitely enjoyed all of the attention. He will make a great addition to any family looking for a smaller dog with a lab’s personality.
