Meet our handsome Romeo! Romeo's mom lost her home and was living in her car with him. Sadly she had to surrender him because she found a place to live that did not allow pets. Romeo is approximately 8 yrs old and 70 pounds. He is a well behaved senior who loves to cuddle. Romeo enjoys playing fetch and going for walks. He rides in a car very well. Please complete an application to meet him this saturday from 11-2 at pequannock feed and pet supply in west milford
Close to Home Rescue & Sanctuary is dedicated to saving homeless, abandoned and injured domestic animals. Our organization cares for them medically and emotionally until a permanent, loving home is found. We also provide a safe and loving home to those animals that are unadoptable. Close to Home Rescue strives to educate the public on the importance of proper medical care for their pets, such as routine vaccinations, HW medication, flea and tick preventative and the benefits of spaying and neutering. We also help assist families in need to locate low cost medical services for their pets Close to Home Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc, works with children ages 7-17 to complete community service hours needed for their school and church programs. We are very proud to have this program to educate our society’s children on how to be responsible caring individuals to animals. They will be our future pet owners and hopefully advocates for the next generations outlook on how to help our world be kinder and more connected to the needs of the animal population
