Turtle was left on the side of the road, under one of our shelter signs, about half a mile from the shelter. It was a hot day and she was left in a small travel crate with no water. The grass was high and we were lucky someone spotted her.
Turtle is now comfortable and fully vetted. She is a remarkably friendly cat for all that she has been through. Turtle is affectionate and sweet. She will do well in a home with other cats and humans of all ages.

Home visits required and dog adoptions often do require structural fencing. (We make decisions regarding the fencing requirement on a dog-by-dog basis, according to the dog's exercise needs and energy level.) Stafford SPCA does not condone the exclusive use of invisible fencing. We reserve the right to deny placement of puppies and kittens into homes with children under 5 years old.
